Please take a moment to explore our website to get a feel for what the new Roxbury Center for Arts at Hibernian Hall is about. We hope that you will participate in public events at the hall and that you will hold your events here as well.
Now fully restored, this carefully preserved historical building was a former Irish Dance Hall and, after that, an Opportunities Industrialization Training Center. It's now the Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall, a center for cultural activity and will also be a permanent home for the Arts, Culture and Trade Roxbury (ACT Roxbury), and its programs and initiatives. ACT Roxbury is the cultural economic development program of Madison Park Development Corporation.
The redevelopment of Hibernian Hall helps revitalize an important black in Dudley Square and draws people to area business and restaurants.
